Lately, I have been trying to find the motivation to write something. Nothing in particular that I want to write, just something, anything. I feel the need to write but haven't taken the time do it. A challenge I have for sure. Pre-pandemic, I used to meet some friends every Sunday (hi there Panera crew!) to chat for a bit and then all of us would spend some time writing on our individual projects. I really enjoyed this time, not only for the great friendships, but also for the encouragement that we gave each other. And I miss that.
So, I decided to do something about it. I am starting a live stream in Twitch in which I really would like to build a community that will support and encourage each other in their respective writing endeavors. I'm thinking to start, the stream will discuss a topic or two, review a book I recently read, crowd-writing session (everyone on stream write a short story together), and at the end to conduct a write-in for anyone who would like to participate. Of course, this will evolve over time and will be adjusted based on feedback from the community. I am working on setting a regular schedule but for now the first stream will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11:00am PST for anyone who is interested. Really looking forward to building a community and to have that community support each other.
